I have a 1985 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 with a np208 transfer case and th400 trans. My plans are to slap together a 68' toro 455 i got lying around and put it in place of the anemic 350 chevy in there. I know i'll need an adapter for the bellhousing and I got some frame mounts from an 84' 307 powered lesabre. Also I got some W/Z manifolds for the exuast. I think I got the basics covered here but was wondering if anyone has done this kinda swap before? Also for future reference will a 4l80e bolt to the np208? I know the splines will match being both the th400 and 4l80 have 32 spline. It would be nice to have an over drive with 4.10 gears I figured I could sneek this question in on this board being it's an olds build technically
