That's too bad. I know that there will be a Yellow 1965 442 4 spd with the police speedometer that's going to be there. On Sunday we'll all be in church begging for forgiveness.

Didn't mean to rub it in. Just thought it was an interesting factoid. The owner's name is Jim Carnell. He lives in Ft. Saskatchewan the next town over from me and he's a member of the car club, that's how I know him. He's either owned the car since new or since 1967 or 68. I can't recall. But he told me he's coming to the show. He also owns a Final 500 Intrigue.

I'll do what I can with the pictures, but someone else will be taking them. I'm usually running around making sure it's all running smoothly.

bummer! I was at the OCAs ... sorry I missed it . hope it was a good one! I drove my 68 to Olds AB for their 100th celebrations! it was AWsome! stayed at the Blue YAK .. even MORE fun than it sounds! hahahaa

 

You really can't compare our show to the OCA Nationals. Their show is huge! We were happy to get 75 Oldsmobiles. Where are you located...or should I say, where is the swamp?

 

Hey Ken ... we drove in '05 from southern Ontario to OLDS. I planned it for a while before our trip, talking with the rec Department & even the Mayor of your fine town! It was a BLAST! pancake breakfast at the Cow Palace I put my car in the town parade, proudly carrying the OCC flag. 75 Oldsmobiles in one spot is a great accomplishment! congratulations

 

I think I read about that in the OCC newsletter. You should try to make it out again...you'd probably win long distance. I'll have to make it to Fanshaw Park one year waving our banner.
