As a builder of "Kustom" cars, I applaud your idea! The 67 Starfire, and Orion are good examples of how to proceed. There is a delicate balance of keeping too much Camaro, and adding too much Olds, to the concept. I like that on the Starfire they used an Olds component on the side profile, not just front and back. To make this really work, you have to be part artist, a very good technician (fabrication and welding), and be resourceful. Sourcing the right components, and using or rejecting them will be a long hard road. You might even have to take an existing component, and up or downsize it to fit the car. So you may even get into exotic machining, 3D printing, or do your own casting.
Good luck with this, if you decide to go forward, and the hell with the purists!

Oh, and let's not forget the good job some customizers did with El Caminos! 442's, Grand nationals, Caddys, etc.

Both of those look great. I had not seen the Grand National truck. I love the Olds.
