Old Cars Price Guide Value???

Would someone be able to tell me what the value would be on my car? After much work it runs & drivers great. 2 tears on drivers side seat & headrest. I'm guessing it would be a #4 based on previous threads about other cars.

It was not really my first choice for Oldsmobiles but couldn't pass up the deal. I plan to fix it up a bit more while I drive and enjoy it for another year. Then sell it and buy something that fits a little better in the garage!!!

1966 Oldsmobile 98 LS

Here is a link to an album with pictures.

The Old Cars Price Guide lists three different 4-door versions of the '66 98. They list the 4-door Town Sedan, 4-door Luxury Sedan, and 4-door hardtop. From the photos, I don't think yours is a hardtop.

In #4 condition, which means runs and drives, but needs complete restoration, the values for the first two versions listed above are $2440 and $2460 (big difference, I know). In #3 condition ("car show quality" or "a 20-footer"), the values are $5490 and $5540. Because you've done work to the engine compartment at least, I think you're car is better than #4 even if it isn't yet #3, so, what, maybe $3500?

VERY nice looking car! From the pictures, it looks more like a #3 to me, or maybe even a little above. I think it is well fit for shows, at least providing the steering wheel is installed and it is not a "perfect cars only" show..............
Keep up the great work!
