Okoboji Car Museum

Made a 450 mile round trip in the 72 to visit museum. They have 145 cars about 80% are for sale. Weird thing they only open hoods when charging batteries.

Some nice cars there, and I bet it was a great trip! Thanks for the photos

Would I be correct in saying that the '67 442 shouldn't have the CS logo on the trunk?

Hood rule might be for discouraging people to see under the hood. I usually check fluids while connecting the battery disconnect.

Many car museums are a business to show off and make some money of a previously established collection of a gear head, thus, most of them are for sale because of him wanting to own different cars or downsizing. My H/O came from such a place.

A 67 Cutlass Supreme came with an Oldsmobile grille bar, Cutlass fender badges, CS sail panel badges if hardtop or vinyl hardtop, CS trunk badge, Cutlass trunk badge, CS door panel interior badges and Cutlass Supreme dash badge. The 442 replaced the grille, fenders, trunk, and dash Cutlass badges with 442 badges, left the door panel and trunk CS badges, and deleted the sail panel CS badges.
