I vote for the wagon, I think at this point it's likely the rarer car, whether that figures in or not.

Just buy the post 2-door and have both cars. They're both '60s, so you'll have a lot of part interchangeability, what you learn about fixing one applies to both, and you only have to buy one set of service manuals. That's a no-brainer to me!

There's some guys in the Station Wagon forum that'll pay decent dollars for the wagon - it's highly desireable, then buy the 2-door.

The wagon is a far more practical car if you're actually going to drive it, but of course, it's ugly as sin.

I'd vote for the wagon, but I agree that if you could get both, you'd be way ahead.

One's about as rare as the other. I also vote for getting them both if you can swing it. The body on the post looks a little better shape than the wagon, if that makes a difference.

Anybody see that Royale coupe in the background in the wagon pics?

I resemble that remark!

Are you talking about the wagon as it currently sits on its flat tires, half sunk into the ground, with rust-through here and there, or are you talking about its intrinsic appearance that no degree of restoration could fix?

If it's the latter, that's certainly an eye-of-the-beholder thing. I think that wagon is gorgeous!
