Just got the letter from my DMV stating I can drive. WOW what I went thru on this one. I have a cataract in the right eye at 20/400 and the left eye is 20/30 but with both eyes its 20/40 so they said its OK to drive. I have been doing injections in both eye for 8 months once a month. They plan on taking it out soon so right now this is my Veterans day, Birthday, Christmas all in one day. Maybe my blood pressure can come down now.

I went through the same thing a couple of months back. Its so nice to see again.

 

You would think that the highway signs would be in Braille as well, for some of us.

Braille Driving in California used to mean using the lane markers to keep you awake, I guess texting drivers have a new term for it. They also used to be called Drunk Bumps.

Legally blind on the lift side and packing someone else eye parts on the right. You gotta compromise to keep on keeping on..... Tedd

 

I just stayed home and did nothing just watched the 49 ers WIN. SHOCK. I went to the mail box to get my lic. then went back at 5 pm then I knew what it was not a total good day as it was Veterans Day but being a Vet I did get my free meals. Hope on Monday it shows up.
