Steve, I would put the VR1 10-30 in it. Imho, I would not do anything until you hear back from the builder, any additional running may make it worse.

PCV's are cheap, you can just replace it. You can cap the line and see if that's the noise easily. I've seen PCV's suck oil before. Is your oil pressure good now that you changed the oil?

I'd try another mechanical oil pressure gauge to be sure. If it is still low then there are issues. You should have 50-60+ when cold and at least 25 hot idle with a fresh engine. The old rule of thumb is a 10# gain per 1000 rpm.

Is it still sucking oil? How is your oil pressure at hot idle and speed?

That will definitely give a good HOT reading. We are blessed with around 95 and high humidity today.

Well I took it out ran alright a little noise starting ,went down the street punched it Oil coming out of both pipes,I go home take all the crap off PCV etc I put my 3 vented caps on ,called the engine builder he gave me a bunch of crap,The guy who put it in is going to call him I guess they don't want to pay for taking engine out ,I had oil problems since new ,we will see I about had it w/this car this is the 2 times rebuilt,I can't keep doing it,I should of put a 350 Rocket in it,
So I wait till my guy talks to the engine guy.

Just a simple question, but were the oil baffles in the valve covers removed to clear aftermarket rockers and studs?
