O a th400
I have a line on one that has a 425 out front. Would this be a good tranny to buy. The owner is does not want motor or tranny. Any input would be great. Thanks....A heads block I'd 386525A and a 455 Torker intake.

If it is a long tail TH400 you will not be able to use it in a Cutlass without a short driveshaft. The 425 would have come from a big car and if the transmission is from the same car it will be a long tail TH400. Still a good transmission and other than the tail it is the same as a short tail TH400.
