NYC-LI OCA show May 5th
Tri-State area members, the annual OCA Spring Dust-Off car show is coming up on Sunday, May 5th. Show is from 9am-5pm at Four Towns Fireman's Training Center in Merrick, NY (on Merrick Rd, just east of Meadowbrook Pkwy). Here's the link for details:

I'll be there but only as spectator (
). I've gone to this show every year for many years. If the weather cooperates, it's a nice show. Usually a nice display of Oldsmobiles (and many other makes as well). If you're free that day and you're not too far away, might want to check it out. Maybe meet up with another member....put a face to screen-name.

It's a great show, but I'm starting to wonder how many less cars could be there that Hurricane Sandy killed. I would like to go but I put my foot down. $13 for the Goethals bridge, $15 for the Verrazano, and before you know it, it's an easy $100 day and four hours of traffic going back to Jersey

Last bump....
If you're in the NY metro area and looking for something to do on this fine Sunday, head out to Merrick, NY (Merrick Rd, just east of Meadowbrook Pkwy) for a nice car show. Plenty of your favorite Oldsmobiles!

69'442, Thanks for posting those great pics. In addition to all those awesome A-bodies, I saw lots of other cool Oldsmobiles (Deltas, Starfires, 88's, G-bodies, etc...). Hell, there were tons of cool cars; many makes, models and years represented. I try this photo upload thing again......
I stopped by with my daughter and there was a great selection of Oldsmobiles (and other beauties). Overall a really nice day, and as mentioned having Fusick there with a trailer full of goodies w/ no shipping costs doesn't suck.
Here's a link to my Photobucket page for many pics I took from this Olds show. Enjoy!
