I was an only child, my wife was one of 4. we compromised at 2 a boy and girl. when people asked me when the third was coming, I told them I already have a boy and girl when they come up with a third variety I will try for a third child.
Congrats you and your wife are lucky. I hope for a smooth, easy time.

That's a huge gap between having your 1st and last.

Congratulations and Good Luck.

Congrats on the new future addition. Five, wow, can't imagine that! Sounds like lots of chaos! We have two little ones now, boy and a girl so I am not sure about going for number 3.

Congrats Wes!!!!!!! Big families aren't as common as when I was a kid. But I grew up in a family of 6 kids and there's nothing wrong with that.

My wife was not supposed to able to have children and then when I was 35 and just bought a brand new vette, she says she was pregnant. He's now 17 and she says I'm the oldest of her 2 kids.

CONGRATS!!!

LOL. When I was in with my wife while she was giving birth I told her I had a confession and had to get it off my chest. She looked serious and asked what it was, through all the huffin' and puffin'. I said, "The baby....it's not yours."

Note to anyone in the birthing room: Not a good time to crack jokes .....you listening Wes? Women have no sense of humour at that time.

You did find out what causes this right?? Not necessarily the water out there...

I have 5 brothers and sisters, but only have 1 son myself. Can't begin to imagine how you find time for your own life..not to mention your car.

Now if this kid doesn't turn out to be a gearhead, your wife either lost the 'build sheet' or installed the wrong parts during assembly....

Congrats to both you and your wife!

Like when your wife calls yo one the phone to give you the news.

"Honey, Guess what? I'm pregnant."

Don't say,

"Who is this?"

More like you should say: "Sorry lady you got the wrong number"
