Wow, was thinking 2500?? Are they crazy, the car is a turd and worth scrap prices until I saw the factory 4spd! Super rare and prob worth it to someone who wants to do a conversion or tackle a major restoration.... VERY COOL!

If I didn't already have one project underway and a shop full if work I'd give him $2500 for it. Mainly because it's all there. Wouldn't be hunting down half the trim and what not. Its also fairly straight. A good body guy would have it straightend out and painted in no time at all. The bumpers can be straightened. Around here getting seats redone is easy. Just take them to Amish country and they make new covers that look like the originals did when new. See, here I am planning out a project in not even gonna have. Someone should offer him the cash and go get it.

Go ahead and buy it............sell off one of your "common Pontiacs"!

That could be a problem in some states. In NJ to get a title for a car like this you would need a prior registration. This proves the person you got it from actually owned the car. A bill of sale is not valid here.

When I bought my TA it came from NH which trades on a bill of sale. NY wouldn't accept it. The seller & I had to go back to the last registered owner and get a registration. It wasn't a transferable regi like NY issues but they took it.

I see they added a short video to the ad showing the underside. It is not so great. They also say they have a parts car to offer to the buyer....hmmm I am starting to wonder which one would actually be the parts car.

Well I believe there should be the 2L on the cowl tag for the stick and that would confirm it being a factory 4spd car. ( Am too lazy to look at my 66) The engine would have no numbers to verify so it wouldnt be such a crime if it was not the original block. It should be a D block with B heads. The shifter is legit only missing the correct ****. From what I see it appears to be an original 4spd B body. It is next to impossible to clone the stick B bodies correctly without a donor car.

It appears there were no bidders and the auction ended. I thought it would get a bid. If you add up the parts, posi, trans, shifter, rare B body clutch parts, 425 engine, carb etc etc and the rare console you have 2500 maybe more.

I like the car but logistics come in to play with this one, he wants it picked up in 2 wks and it's a dead inoperative car on flat tires. That rules out lots of transporters. I'd bid on it if it was somewhat local to me. As far as the 425 engine goes he did say it would not turn over, so that's another minus.
