nothing special just my shifter
when i got my 65 f-85 it just had the post on the column for the shifter so i made my own with a spent shell from one of our navy's gun ships 
my niece gave it to me which makes it even more special.

I had a helicopter control handle for a shifter when I was in high school. Was pretty easy to adapt to the Hurst tab with a piece of 1" steel pipe. Didn't fit real well, though, and had a nasty vibration with certain engine speeds. I took it off when I installed buckets, because the 1" pipe was too wide for the console. Still got it hanging in the barn...
