Saw this steering wheel for sale on EBay. It is being advertised as a “NOS Rimblow 1970 Oldsmobile Wheel.” I don’t know much about the Rim Blow ? steering wheel other than it was an option in 1969 and 1970 on the 442 ? I have a few questions that I hope you guys can help out with : Is this a 1970 Rim Blow steering wheel ? The wheel might be NOS but obviously has some condition issues - can it be restored to near new condition judging by the photos ? Is the Deluxe Steering Wheel Horn Pad the same as the one that belongs on this wheel ? Considering the condition and color, what’s a fair price ?

I believe it is NOS. Probably 50 years of storage by people that did not care about it. I've had a couple used ones and the inlay was always in very poor condition. The horn pad is the same shape as the N30 wheel, but mounts differently. I may have some pictures on C/O of the last one I sold. With some very fine sanding and polishing it can be made to look a lot better.
