NOS boxed rear control arms

So I picked up in NOS set of boxed rear control arms, yes I know there's some rust but they're nicer than most. Question is the XN or the NX sticker that's on these was that on the cars originally or was it just when these were bought over-the-counter. Thanks Brandon

Couldn't tell you if stickers were original used, but will give you a bump to the top for someone that may know.

Mmm. Sorry, no help here either. Never have seen stickers on any control arms in all my years.

From my experience in the Chevy world I would say these are over the counter replacements due to the fact that they have a "V" notch at the end of each reinforcement plate. I've never seen an original Chevelle SS with the notches but not familiar with BOP. I would assume all GM "A" body's would use the same arm. JMO..

Those are "over the counter parts tags". Original production had the two letter code stamped in the side of the arm, right side up when installed, even though chassis were assembled upside down.
