Just got back from a three day trip to New Orleans. Jazzfest is really something you should go to at least once if you are a jazz/blues fan. Lots of mudbugs and corn on the cob too. One club on Rue Bourbon called Fat Catz had a great house band and drinks priced right. Very good time.
