And it don't matter what space is empty you will always find something to fill it
Let's see if you can find my 1/4 inch socket that fell on my floor

No warning necessary. Car guys just KNOW that stuff is part of the hobby. It's just a reason to build another bigger cave....BTW, you're waaaay to organized.
You know how it goes - The guy with the most toys wins!

You need a garage like mine. Mind you, it's been halved since then.
...Aaaand that's how far I got before I had to call it quits so I could rush my packing for A-stan. Need a million little things, including a fuel pump, apparently.
All the loose parts I had lying around have been moved up above the office and toilet in the workshop, where I've been granted permission to store it for now.
I'll see this baby either tomorrow morning... or in four months. We'll see.

Seff I would love that garage! Could do everything I wanted in there and have a few lifts. One day I will! :-) Would have a loft apartment to live out of! If you are not halfway organized you loose something and never find it until you buy another! lol I also have a storage shed in the back thats the motorcycle workshop with 2 candidates waiting for my to start disassembly. The other 2 squeeze into the garage with hotrods.

Only thing I lost so far is stuff that broke, and a single 1/4" top, which is rattling around in my car somewhere. >.> If my uncle hadn't let me use that garage for free, I'd have had to pay $2 per square foot a month.

I built my house 4 years ago and ended up with a standard 3 car garage that I bumped out 2 feet wider and 2 feet deeper. Now I wish I would have went with a 4 stall as I have a parking pad next to the 3 car so I could have done it. Every time I want to work on my car I have to rearrange the entire garage. If the wife didn't have to have her spot I would be golden. Haha never get away with that one.

Well to work in mine I have to pull the toys out and I still haven't installed a washer/dryer which where yelloe/black bike is. Plus I have 2 steel work benches to assemble that will fit infront of the cars. Next week I head to TX to reclaim my tools and items out of storage of 3yrs finally!

Mine is 50 x 50... with (2) 72 olds (convertible and 4 door parts car) 4 airplane projects
2 complete sets of woodworking power tools...3 kayaks and a racing shell...I need WAY more room!
At least the convertible is going back together now!

I went from no garage for 31 years to a 24 x 36 3 car garage that had no shelving and no stains on the floor. Now the floor has stains and paint overspray, there is no free wall space, houses my 65 98, my tractor and one bay is kept open to repair my other vehicles. The drivable vehicles stay outside. Don't want to have to move a nice vehicle outside when I want to paint, grind or do any work. Next will be a 40 x 60 shop and a 2 car for the drivers.
