Hugh Mitchell the guy who built the car actually bought the F-85 Club Coupe body from me. I had bought the car from a guy in Phoenix and couldn't get it transported. Hugh asked me if I would sell it to him and I told him yes. Hugh and I have been friends for a very long time and selling it to him wasn't a problem. I have known the car and story since it was built and along with several other cars I keep them to myself.

It has the correct Tri-Carb bypass hose. Because of the front carb, the water neck is farther forward so a bypass hose to the 12 o'clock position on the water pump would be kinked almost shut. Therefore, Olds ran this hose to the 11 o'clock nipple on the water pump. However, the car has the incorrect Chevy-type C48 firewall cover.

Thanks guys. Never done learning here.
Beautiful L-69.
Is that same master cylinder also used on 68-69 with front disc?
I think the F85 W30 clone is cool as hell. Id own it in a heart beat. Wouldn't be afraid to beat it up a bit!

Not sure of exact application. I bought it from The Right Stuff to get a period correct looking master cylinder. I put front disc brakes on it and that master had a 1" bore and I didn't use a prop valve. It worked great,no locking up of the rear brakes @ all.

When you install the center carb, put Permatex #1 on the base gasket to help prevent leaks from the vacuum package under the carb base. This comes from the Olds service guild monthly brochure. That applies to AL and AU intakes which have the small carb mounting pad for the center carb.
