Nissan payload rating off by 1000 lbs

For the trim level I have, the rating listed online is showing +1000. OOPS!

Is that the Titan?

No one buys those.

If that was the case, they wouldn't manufacture them. No, this isn't the Titan.

In 2014 Nissan sold just 12,527 Titans.

In the same period, Ford sold 695,143 F150s.

I guess Nissan needs to rethink their product offering.

Obviously fleet sales are a big boost. Plus Nissan's Titan model was extremely old at that point, without much refreshing at all.

Just because nobody buys as much of something doesn't mean that it isn't desirable, either for a company to offer it, or for a consumer to buy it. I have never liked driving something EVERYONE else has.

They didn't make near as many Oldsmobiles last year (possibly zero unless cloned in China) as they did Chevys. I rest my case.

But back to the payload. My van is still higher rated on payload than many of the crew cab pickups, both 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton.

Plus it has a 5 year/100,000 mile bumper to bumper factory warranty. Who else does that? Right...nobody. Not Ford, not Chevy, not Ram.
