Nick's Garage dyno another Olds 350
Yeah, I wonder what pistons and cam are in it? Probably low compression cast and the stock peanut cam. Some guy commented with chebby in their YouTube profile that it would not even spin the tires. I said it sure would with 333 ft-lbs of torque. With 150 psi cranking compression, 87 octane should work fine even with aggressive part throttle timing which will help part throttle response. Cool to see some Olds 350 builds on his channel.
Same here, someone in the comments believes its an RV cam.
Yes, did you notice how disappointed Nick was with the compression, you just know the man is used to dealing with performance engines...
Ah yes always the chebby guys...
Yeah I so want to speak to you in detail but don't want spoilers for members that havent seen it.
Let me try it this way. What do you think if , no accessories, full length headers , and 87 Octane ? I'm thinking the results are plus 45 HP.

Interesting that 87 gains HP on low compression engines like this one. He would get a lot closer to 300 HP. A bore scope to see the piston dish would be helpful. Maybe a 6cc cast or forged replacement was used. Unless it was zero decked and the head milled a good amount, especially with something like the 204/214 cam, 150 psi might not even be achieved. Hopefully we see more of this little 350.
