Nice day for a cruise....and some pics!!!!
So I got the car all cleaned up today, got rid of that pesky leak on my tranny kickdown cable i've been battling, and took it out for a pretty long cruise. Brought the kid to get ice cream, and while we were indulging in waffle cones filled with our favorite ice cream I noticed she was shining pretty good, so I grabbed some pics. Thought I would share them with everyone, she's running strong too!!

I think you should drive it up here and leave it with me for the summer so I can take it to all the local car shows. Hey, I'll even fly you up in the fall when you'll want to put it back in the garage for the winter ...
Seriously, you have one absolutely gorgeous car. What color is that? I don't think I've seen it before. And your bodywork would have to be perfect or any blems would show. Again, GREAT looking car!

Thanks guys!!! The color is called "Light Sapphire Metallic Blue". I Actually took the paint code from my grandfathers 92 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. He gave me this cutlass when I was 15. And he always said this cutlass was his favorite car out of others all he had owned, but the color scheme on his caddy was also a favorite of his. So when I did the body work and color change, I painted it with the factory Cadillac paint code off his coupe deville. I got a friend of mine to do the body work, took about a year from start to finish, but was worth the wait. All the jams are done, with brand new weather stripping. Also had to replace to floor pans and trunk pan.

And the breeze made it a little chilly today in Massachusetts for the top to be down. Plus I like to show off the brand new convertible top, and I almost like how it looks with the top up compared to top down. But don't worry, it comes down plenty:-)

thanks again guys....this car is a product of a lot of hard work, part searching, and penny saving!!! alot of people never thought this car would run again when it was stripped down to the body and my bedroom was full of parts all over the place. so i hold a sense of pride when i get to show it off:-) i put the new tranny in it last year, and man will this thing lay down some rubber!! and it's chirping second on demand without a problem. i'm very happy with it!!!

BTW, what is 'mid 90's' and 'low 70s'? I can only speculate that you're finally catching up with the times . During the day you're living about 15 years in the past, and at night - ooh la la - you're living the dream of 1972????
