A nice day for a cruise in the Olds

It was almost 50 today so got a chance to take the Olds out for a spin. Put about 50 miles on it all together. Glad I got to enjoy it this time of year.

Hope some of you get to soon as well.

Larry

With any luck the Old's and I will attending a gearhead breakfast this Saturday. It's about a 100 mile round trip to the tiny little town of Capay where a bunch of us car enthusiasts and their cars get together. It's held on the first Saturday of the month rain or shine at this small deli where we have a sit down breakfast. Sometimes 40 or more cars are there, anything is welcome, hardly any spectators, just gearheads and car talk.... Tedd

It's still a little to chilly to take mine out of storage. Hopefully by March the weather might turn.

We are going to be in the 80s all next week - in early February - so I may drive mine to work before it gets too hot to take it out.

Well not quite as warm here Kenneth, but has been warmer than usual. Its always nice to be able to take the car out for a drive Larry, seems to lift the weight of the world off your shoulders and clear the head.

Yes it does. Looks like we will be in the 60's for the next week so I will get more winter drive time. Top up mostly but still fun.

53* now headed for a high of 57* with clear, sunny skies. We've enjoyed a very nice weather pattern for cruising the past few days and it appears warmer temps (70's) are on the way for the coming week. Gotta love it!

I did the gearhead breakfast and somewhere around 27 cars showed up. The temp was good enough that I could have put the top down but figured I would have to just put it back up on the way up the mountain so why bother.Quite a manager y of vehicles on display. Everything from rat rods, model T's to two plastic Cobras, friendly group most don't show their cars so they were new to me. Fun bunch I'll be back.... Tedd

Today was so nice we had the top down for our drive. That doesn't happen in February very often in these parts.

I'd welcome a sunny day and temps over 50* here in the Carolinas for a nice ride.

Glad I live in Southern Louisiana. Cruising in one of the Cruisers is like medicine to me and I'd go insane if I couldn't outrun the stress every weekend.
