Welcome

Welcome aboard.

When I went to the tag office I ask for my442 but it was taken. The nice lady said, "Are you married?" When I said yes, she said what about our442.

Women learn early about this mine, yours, and our thing.

When you make a post there is an option a little lower than the script box (where you type) to attach files, you click on the "manage attachments" button and it then allows you to insert a url or browse you local computer to upload files depending upon where they are actually located.

Pictures are manditory for this site. everybody loves to see other peoples rides. If you are going to do any work on your Olds and takes pics of changes you can also post pics in www.flickr.com or in www.photobucket.com then in these you can make your own link to direct people to see your photos. http://www.flickr.com/photos/wolfman98/ this is one of mine.

Question Can someone post pictures for me?

I don't have any of my pictures on a shared site. I could e-mail them to someone.

My car is 100% done. Everything is rebuilt, replated, or redone.

It is close to perfect, after many years of blood, sweat, tears, and $$$.

The Quick reply has a "go advance button" at the bottom

If the two boxes at the bottom say "Post reply" and "preview thread" just scroll down to "Manage attachments" in the box below where you type.

The paint is the original color, but done in DuPont ChromaBase base coat/clear coat.

It was painted about 9 years ago, and still looks perfect.

I only use Zaino products on her.

Here is what I have done:

1. Rebuilt the entire drive line - engine, tranny, rear end

2. All new suspension - bushings, front end parts, brakes, brake lines, driveshaft, fuel/brake lines, gas tank, etc.

3. Under the hood - new radiator, rebuilt booster, wiper motor, wiring

4. Exterior - New paint, all stainless polished, rechromed bumpers, etc.

5. Interior - Rebuilt Rally Pac, all plastic rechromed, restored console, all new seat covers, foams, carpet, door panels, etc.

I have a 2.5" Torque Tech mandrel bent exhaust as well.

More pictures to come.

Engine specs: Bored .030" over, decks squared, forged pistons (9.5 to 1), rebuilt rods, zero deck, balanced, Cloyes True Roller timing chain, Engle 20-22 cam, ported heads, roller tip rockers, Edelbrock O4B intake, reworked Q-jet/distributor, W and Z manifolds. The oil system is a 7 quart pan, HV pump, and windage tray.

It ran 400 HP and 500 TQ.

A stock W30 engine ran 310 HP and 430 TQ on the same dyno.

The result is a combo that has a decent idle, and has enough vacuum for power brakes. It pulls strong with the 3.91 gears, and it is about perfect for street driving. Runs at 180 degrees in 90 degree heat, and loves 93 octane pump gas.

More specs:

The tranny is a Muncie M21 close ratio. I had it rebuit with M22 gears from Masiero. The gear whine is really loud and cool.

The clutch is a CenterForce II. Works great, and light pedal pressure.

The shifter is the factory Hurst Competition Plus.
