Welcome to the site! I'm a klutz when it comes to electrical, but the multiple things makes me think you may have some grounding problems. With these old cars who knows how many radios, cb's or whatever have been spliced into the harness over the years. If you want to work on your car I'd strongly advise you to purchase a 1968 Chassis Service Manual. They're on ebay all the time and have a nice wiring schematic, plus lots of other pictures and drawings that can help you figure things out.

Be sure to do your stretching exercises before you stand on your head and try to reach up under there. Whenever I'm working behind the dash I wish God had given me a couple extra joints in my arms. John

If it's all original inside and some of the electrical is not working, do check your fuses. They are all located below the dash just to the side of the emergency brake. Your owners manual will help you with fuse ratings and locations as well as what they provide power to.

As John mentioned, grounds on these old cars are really important. The suggestion to pick up a chassis service manual is a really good one. If you don't know how to work on electrical, find someone you trust. A 42 year old car can have lots of surprises. Not to mention, the car is probably older than a lot of the techs who are the modern advent mechanics.
