Need a source for plug wires GOT IT, THANKS RON

I admit it, I am a picky old guy. I like black plug wires. They are for the SportWagon so they need to be 7mm to fit the factory wire looms. I believe the factory wires were straight boots both ends so I would like that. I would also like to get the ones I can cut to fit and put the distributor end on myself. So I thought someone might be able to help. You all know what you get on a search of the internet, the answer lies somewhere in the 5 billion or so results . I'd like to find them while I am still young enough to install them.

Thanks,
Mike

Taylor Spiro core 8mm wires are the best street hi-perf wire out there. They offer all colors including black. Inquire on the tech line to see if they make 7mm. I thought they did? Why not step up to 8mm? Not much work or $ to change the looms.
If not Packard will have the 7mm carbon core stockers. Any Delco dealer should be able to order them. Year One offers them too, (with date codes for the picky old guys). The 7mm Packard’s are pre-made. Accell, MSD, Mallory etc... through Summit or Jegs may offer cut to fit 7mm?
If you’re running HEI or MSD etc...I’d suggest the low ohm steel core 8mm wires. 7mm carbon cores are ok with point ignition.

I got some nice 7mm wires when I bought a pertronix kit. They are 7 mm wide but allegedly have the interior parts of 8 mm wires. I think they were made by Pertronix. They are black.

How about your local parts store? I'm assuming you still have points since your going with 7mm. Taylor is the most bang for your buck.

I was on Summit website for over an hour last night, I was crosseyed when I quit looking, and I didn't find these. Thank you very much. I guess I really need a course in working computers too.

In some cases Summit offers way too many options on the searches. It would be better if it was more intuitive like if you select universal it would remove the option to select auto make.
