Trying to sort out my interior. My car was restored previously by someone else and I am trying to figure out what is what.

First off the car is a G87 according to the cowl tag. It is also a 914 trim code which says Covert Gold. At some point the carpet , headliner seats and steering column were all changed. It became a bucket seat with auto on the floor . The carpet became black, the headliner became saddle believe . The door panels were painted black ,etc. It appears that the dash matches the color of the body , as do the kick panels and the dash pad.

So my question is were these that color originally or did the previous owner paint the dash and kick panels to match the body? This really has me stumped. Any help would be appreciated. I will try to attach pics of the present interior.

Dash, headliner and rear sail panels are probably original color.

Seats look correct, but the covers are not original.

Steering wheel is not correct.

Yeah the seat covers go with a 70 GTO.
How do I find the dash color to match the dash and kick panels ?I know it originally a bench seat car too.
