Need help decoding an engine

So I have some woods behind my house and I always used to hangout in them and ever since I can remember there has been this inline 6 cylinder engine and on the other side of the creek is a head and I assume they go together. I found a number on the side of the block yesterday. I found 313033 I want to know what kind of engine it is amd what it came out of. I know it was manual trans.

1) you need better numbers- google on "engine block 313033" brings up nothing.

2) start with the basics like what bellhouse pattern it has- the ubiquitous Chevy or ?

3) photos would help

4) if it's been outdoors for years, isn't it now scrap metal? Why the interest?

Yeah it is just scrap metal, but it is still interesting to know what it came from. I guess It really isnt worth looking into
