need help 8 track wire

I'm still installing my dash, My car has the 8 track, and stereo adapter. The person before me cut some wires, I have a blue/white wire coming out of back of 8 track player, and a blue wire coming from same place, my adapter has a blue wire coming out of the back of it. do I hook blue to blue, and is blue/white for rear speakers? Also I have a orange wire coming out of dash wire harness , is this for the center console? Thanks

Or look up the service manual, i got one on cd. for 20$ For the a-body...This dosent help if someone changed out wires for different colors but will tell you were the wires go.

Thanks , I have the assembly manual and shop manual, but they don't tell me what wire is blue/ white, or just blue.

Wow, how dumb I'm I , I just noticed that the two wires coming out of 8 track, have different ends, so you can't hook them up wrong!

Blue to rear speaker, Lt blue to front speaker, Dk blue to rear speaker lead on radio, yellow to radio power plug. Orange is the power for the glove box light.

Yellowstatue, thanks. I have the lighter, glovebox light, and under dash light hooked up ( they are Orange), I thought maybe this one goes to center console, but that wire harness has more then one wire , that's sapost to go there. I don't have the center console wire harness, or I have not found it yet in all the boxes of parts that came with the car.

Orange also feeds Pwr trunk, courtesy lights, map light, and clock.

I don't have a clock, maybe that's the wire! have a gray wire taped to wire harness up by the clock , so if clock has two wires gray, and orange, I think we have a winner, thanks
