Mystery Car in Nationals Magazine

My friend Jon Manji went to the '13 OCA Springfield Nationals and brought me back a Souvenir Magazine. On page 5 the host hotel, Crown Plaza, has a full page color ad welcoming all of the attendees of the Oldsmobile Club of America 2013 National Meet. The car in the ad takes up 3/4 of the page and is not an Oldsmobile. Is this a joke or a mistake?

Sure looks like Studebaker lines, but I can't figure out which Studebaker.

What a bunch of morons whoever put that picture in that magazine. But ONLY the grille looks like a '49 Olds- the rest of it looks like a cheap car

It's not American. I thought is was from England or France in the early '50. Where in the heck did the Crown Plaza come up with this one?

I found it in Cold War Russia! How did the Crown Plaza get this car so wrong? It's a 1956-58 GAZ Volga from the Soviet Union.

Somebody at Crowne Plaza figured that putting an old car on the cover would be good enough. They apparently either didn't care or didn't bother to check to make sure it was actually an Oldsmobile. Pretty sad, actually.
