My wife's 72 Cutlass sold

a little story about this if you want to read it.

i got this car from scott_442 in July of 2009. i flew to NC to drive it home. our plans were to repaint it to whatever my wife wanted. after getting home with the car i determined i didn't want to mess up a nice original paint rust free car. we decided to sell it so i contacted Scott and give him first chance. after he didn't want it he contacted me 3 or 4 days later and said there was a wanted add on craigslist here in Indiana that said "wanted nice 72 cutlass with a 350 and prefer gold" the add was from a guy only 15 minutes from me and it took Scott from NC to find it to tell me about it. i completely missed it. (thanks Scott) well, the guy explained to me that his dad had sold a 72 gold Cutlass S to start the family in the late 70s and his dad is now getting ready to retire. he wanted to find a gold 72 cutlass to give to his dad for a retirement gift. he looked at the car and decided to get it. he was a great guy and glad it went to someone like that. i hope to meet his dad after they give it to him. they are going to video it when they give it to him. he said he would post it after they do it. i just hope they don't have any trouble with it. i never did but i always worry about that kind of stuff.

I like stories like that. Very cool. Post pics when and if you get them. I hope you can keep in touch with these folks, they sound very nice and decent.

Cool story. There's no doubt that he will take care of the car too.
