my first Nationals

Just wondering if one could take His/ her car off the event grounds after the days show? I was thinking that it would be fun for a group to hit the town in our cars and check out the sites of Reno. Or is this a problem getting back on the grounds to the secured area later that evening.Inquiring minds need to know...Thanks Tedd

There shouldn't be a problem with that at all. Just make sure you check out with lot security when you leave and check back in with them when you return.

Should not be a problem. I did that in Seatle in 05. Some guys, their show car is the only car they brought.

As long as the car is in place on the showfield before Friday judging starts, and remains there until judging is completed, I've never known a Nationals host group to prevent you from leaving the grounds and returning. Your showfield card and meet name tag should be sufficient ID to get you out and back in at any time.

The worst thing you may run into is someone swiping your parking space.

The parking spot will not be a problem, as you will assigned a parking spot with a number, and it will be yours for the hole show. Parking is aranged, by judging class, so you will be next to cars of your type, and class.
