My Cowl Tag. What is in it?

Hi people. Can anyone decode my cowl tag? Thanks.

That is your cowl tag, as it is riveted to your cowl. Someone more versed in your year can decode it, and there is a cowl tag decoder webpage around here somewhere.

Your protectoplate is a piece of plastic in a paper folder that is part of the documentation when the car is purchased. It is probably lost, like most are.

Thanks Qwik. She was beautiful then. This is how she looks 46 years later. Transformed but still beautiful.

3 = Oldsmobile Division
42 = Cutlass Supreme model line
67 = Convertile
LAN = Lansing, MI assembly plant
326659 = Fisher Body sequential serial number (not related to the VIN)

TR990 = black bench seat with arm rest
48 = Sherwood Green Metallic
B = Black convertible top
12C = assembled third week of Dec, 1969

LOL. I have no idea. I hear people saying she referring to cars. For me is a it, but some is a "bad boy" so all I know is I love my Olds!
