My car got hit, what to look at
I have a 66 f85 in the driveway, and I'm out of state right now. My sister had her car parked in front of mine and put it in drive instead of reverse. I know her car was pretty close to mine, no more then two feet id guess for them both to fit the driveway. I got pictures and it looks fine but the blocks I put behind the tires aren't where they were when I left, appears to be about a foot in the pic. Her car is an 04 mini that got crunched pretty good I guess but what should I check on my car to see if anything was damaged? Parking brake wasn't ion but I believe I had it in gear, manual trans. With no appearant damage to the bumper/grill area I figured she was ok but after I saw how far the blocks appeared to have moved in unsure, it has 275 series tires and a posi with a wooden block behind each rear tire. That's got to take some effort to move that far
I would not worry too much about the frame. From what you said, this was a very slow speed accident... with a Mini of all things.
Like Joe said, bumper and brackets is probably all that you need to check.

If the Mini is built like most new cars, there's a molded styrofoam filler under the plastic bumper cover that serves as an energy absorber. The car gets torn up pretty good absorbing the crash energy, which probably bodes well for the Olds. If you're lucky, the only problem will be that the bumper brackets got pushed back in the slotted holes in the frame. Unfortunately, that deflection of the bumper can cause it to rub on or crack parts of the grille, stone shield, or fender extensions.
Nothin like good old American classic iron (or an F250/350) to thwart off offending modern turd boxes! You're likely fine just polish out her paint from your bumper. Your car likely lurched that distance as its a stick. Good luck for you not so for her.
