My Buddies New Playroom!

My best friend, Craig moved the "toys" into his new shop this past week. It's going to be such a pleasure to for him(& me) to finally have a place to work on his cars. It's a nice size,50x30 with 13 ft ceilings for the 2 post lift he has coming. It's well lit with all led lights, has a bathroom & it's heated. The rallye-red car is his '70 W31, The brown '69 cutlass is a nice, solid unmolested car he just bought on E-pay. We're going to do a frame off on it down the road & make it a W31 4spd clone. The silver car is my buddy Brians(Craig's brother in law) '70 W30 post coupe. He storing at Craigs while his new house is finished. Oh I forgot to mention that Craig's shop comes with a nice new detached house!!!

Tell him he is a bastard! Man I hate my garage, cramped, cracked floor, tarp for a door and not properly insulated. That is what I want to build, good for him.

Craig lives 500 miles from me & I've gone to his place at least once a year to help him sort out his W31. We've been friends since grade school & I enjoy our time working on the car.(plus there is always an endless supply of beer & good food!!!) His old garage SUCKED!!! It was a 2 car attached garage but it was small, had horrible lighting,no work bench, etc. There was just enough room for his Olds. I can't wait to see his new place in person. I'm hoping to still get up there in Oct but I've been doing a major outside restoration on my 100 yr old house all summer & I want to get it finished before the snow comes. That brown '69 cutlass is going to be the first retirement project for us, I can't wait!!!!!

Would be a very nice garage to have. Looks wonderful and a lift no less on it's way.
