I wish, Dan. I'm heading back to Phoenix to FINALLY finish up the 442. I can't believe I'll actually be driving it this weekend (knock on wood).

I've now missed the last 2 Musclepaloozas. I need to fix that.

Tom,

I think missing this one would be well worth it. "Congratulations" on your car. It's been a bumpy road for you but in the end it will all be worth it.

Good Luck. Hope to see pictures of it soon.

Dan

Thanks Dan. I'll definitely be taking some pics and will post them.

Have fun at the show.

Did any one go from here?

Well I went and it sucked.

Musclepalooza was very Disappointing this Labor Day!!! I trailer my car over 150 miles each way and paid $30 for a shitty turnout. The place was not organized at all. I talked to the people at Hemmings and they said they will be up at Lebanon Valley come spring time. I hope so.

Here are some pictures and video from yesterday.

Tom,

I went Sunday. It was nothing like the turnout that lebanon valley has had. I will never wast my time going down to E town again for this.

Sorry to here about your car. Did you at least get to drive it? Get some pics up on here. I would love to see what it looks like now.

Wow, that sucks. I went a few years back and it was pretty good--show field was pretty crowded. Guess the economy has hit harder than many people suspected, myself included.

Nope, didn't even come close to driving it. We're running into a couple issues. 1) my 442 wasn't an A/C car, and this donor car--the Cutlass was, but I didn't disassemble it (hence didn't have correct A/C compressor brackets, and 2) the 442 had been worked on so extensively originally, that I didn't have a clear idea on certain small parts (the clutch spring bracket, being one of them). There's also been some wiring issues that needed to be addressed. It's just all adding up to a ton of time and money. Not fun.

Didn't get any pics as the front end isn't yet assembled as I didn't have all the fasteners for the fender trim. So, long story short, I'm still a bit away from getting it done.

missed it...

I live only about 5 miles from Englishtown, had other commitments so really felt bad about missing it, that was until this post. I have to say that route 18 which is usually a parking lot on the weekend, did not have the usual musclecars heading to e-town, they have been getting less and less, while there have been more and more imports and newer mustangs, when they do the imports it is like the attack of the dyson vacuum cleaners... seems these are well supported, I am really sorry to hear that the musclepalooza was crappy... hope this isn't the trend... I mean I really don't see me in a mazda 3 with a 5 inch exhaust tip....

Sorry about me venting about the show. I just thought it would be much bigger and better. See this was to be my last car show showing my car as a true survivor. I'm planning on giving it a new paint job this winter. I need to fix some rust spots.

At next years show it should be a survivor with only a new paint job.
