That's a beautiful car alright. Guy in our group had a total knock out 71' blue 442, with an under carraige you could maybe eat off of. Wasn't long though, as was stolen, and probably in South America or Saudi Arabia now. Not exactly like paperwork means much in these places.

There was a mid 70's Burt Reynolds movie "WW and the Dixie Dance Kings", where he was robbing stores in a car like that. Recall it being pretty fun, but just a little kid at the time. Maybe something worth looking into for Olds fans, with chase scenes and such.

Gawd, I remember when those were on the showroom floor in late '54. My Uncle Bodie sold them at Triangle Motors on Cedar Springs in Dallas. He sold 'em, I drooled over 'em! Still do! What a beautiful car.

Yeah, Delta77, I was a kid in the mid 70s too and remember seeing that movie (WW and the Dixie Dance Kings w/Burt Reynolds). It was hilarious! I am gonna have to try to rent that one since they don't show it anymore.

There is a local around here that has a blue '56 that's his daily driver.
Another great looking Olds!
