On my W-31 as well as 442 I have build sheets, but not all options that are on the cars are on the built sheet. Is it likely that those items such as the rear deck lid and mirrors were added by previous owner or is it possible that these items were added without being on the build sheet?

 

Are you talking about the actual build sheets or the smaller broadcast cards used by Fisher Body. The latter will only have the options that affected Fisher Body, so (for example) suspension items would not be on the broadcast card.

Of course, if you are talking about the build sheet, then yes, items could have been added by the dealer or a previous owner.

2 Assembly Plant Build Sheet

Because you mention the W31, I'll presume you mean the Broadcast Card. That has to do with certain options that are body related, and is not a comprehensive "list" of options. Usually only items that differ it from the basic model will be called out there.

 

i believe sport mirrors were part of W package
