Mondello Stuff

I have bought several parts from Mondello Olds ( intake manifold, carbon fiber valve covers, pistons ) and have always been treated great. It seems that I read many posts that complain about the folks at Mondello. Their return policy is the only thing that seems to be kind of "behind the times" to me, however they do tell you about it before you ever buy anything from them. My advice is to know what you want and then you won't have to return it. The Posi-Flow intake manifold that I put on my 455 has out-performed the Edelbrock Performer and the Edelbrock Torquer that I had on previous builds, and it looks sweet too! I just bought some of their cryogenically frozen pistons, and I have been assured ( guaranteed! ) that they can take a 250 HP shot of N2O if I want to go there. I guess I just wanted to let my fellow Olds fans that not everyone is dissatisfied with Mondello Olds.

You are going to have to do alot of talking to convince me. The last thing I bought from them was a set of shot-peened and polished, resized, ready to run 350 rods. After resizing the six good rods correctly, I had to rework two I had laying around. A friend got a super dooper Port-O-Sonic from them and it ran a bunch slower on the same motor than the Torker that it had.

Buy from Mondello

NO THANKS!!!

I stopped dealing with them after I bought around $3k of parts including the wrong set of head gaskets which caused me to pop a incorrect head gasket. Iron block alum head 455. they gave me iron iron set which didnt work.
I like to deal with Rocket Racing now. They are closer and the first time I called them I was on the phone for 45 minutes because John was getting all the information from me to select the right parts not Just Sell Parts.
