Moderator permission to post?

So this is new. I replied to a post and got the message below. First time I have ever seen this. What’s up?

Interesting. I wonder if I will get the same message after I post this message.

Maybe you are being monitored for good behavior?

It's called a moderated post, the system will lock a post/thread sometimes for reasons unknown other times because it detects certain words, phrases, etc. It takes 1 of us to approve it.

First time I've ever seen that. I know that often posts from brand new members require moderator approval, but this is a first for an existing member.

I created a response to a post by another member which used the term "e r e c t i o n" when discussing building of a wood pole barn. It was flagged exactly as Kenneth's & required Moderator approval. We have children working in the IB developer environment creating naughty word lists (evidently).

How did you create THIS post if your posts require moderator approval?

Sort of a chicken-and-egg thing. If you need moderator approval to make a post, how do you post something complaining about needing moderator approval? Unless the moderator approved it, of course.

The moderated post/thread issue has been going on for years. Most of you have never noticed it because I make a habit of checking and fixing them as soon as possible and/or it has been mostly limited to Newbies that make more than 3 posts in a short time for spam prevention. For existing members it does happen and generally does not limit any future posts, thats why Kenneth was able to start this thread. For the moderated spamming it locks a person out until someone reviews and approves them to continue, or they are banned from the site as spammers.

I responded to my own question yesterday saying I did not get that message. Now that post is gone. Interesting

Well, everyone knows that Kenneth guy is nothing but trouble. Maybe you guys should go ahead and ban him, just to save time.
