Okay quick question. On My 64' Starfire My drivers mirror is mounted on the door right by the small wing window. I have seen pictures of other Starfires online, and I have seen the mirror mounted midway on the front fender I tried googling the difference but no luck. I'm curious as to wether or not it was an option from the factory or what the deal is. Any insight is appreciated! Thanks!

The one on the fender is the factory option remote controlled mirror. One for a Starfire is Starfire-only due to the crown moulding. Base is different on 88-98-Jetstar I.

 

Thanks I appreciate it, that would make sense now that I think of the molding. I remember pulling the molding off of My fender and double checking to make sure someone didn't cover up a mounting spot on the fender or replace the fender completely to change mirror set ups. Thanks for the info!
