Medford Cruise Car Show
Every year on this weekend the local car club hosts the Medford Cruise. Lots of activities and organized well. I just came back from the car show at the park and although I enjoyed it I was disappointed at the number of Oldsmobiles. I counted 5 in a show with about 600 cars.
I forgot my camera, but there was a late 1950's built into a police car by a high school class in Gresham Oregon. Nice work but I wish they would have gone with an Olds engine instead of what looked like a Poncho. Next would be a 1961 Cutlass with a 215 and 4 speed, all original unrestored and for sale. Then to a 1965 Cutlass Convertible, 1970 SX and a 1972 442. These last three had been redone and looked very nice, I've talked with the owners in years past. There were a lot of rare cars there including several Hemi Mopars so I was hoping to see more Oldsmobiles represented. I guess a challenge to myself would be make something I have nice enough to enter it next year! John

I will hold you to it as well John ... Get the 67 442 going
WE have the big fathers day show today as well I`m hoping there will be a few Olds there today usually only 2 or 3 out of about 600 cars

John, despite the scarcity of the 50, 60 and early 70's Oldmobiles, you have to admit it was an interesting array of vehicles on display. In addition, it appeared that most of the vehicles were from the Rogue Valley. Also, you gotta love the guy with the firetrucks.

Scotty, if you could that would certainly be fun!
Wyteon, I didn't know there were any other Classicoldsmobile members in this part of the state! Yes there are some nice cars in town and on display this weekend. You know the guy with the fire trucks put a lot of time and money into them as did the owners of many of the cars. But as I wandered down the rows of cars my radar was on for Oldsmobiles and I would have enjoyed seeing more of them. Have we talked before? What year/model of Olds do you have? John
