manuals

I have a 71 Cutlass supreme convertible. What is the best manual to get? I've tried searching and guess I'm not using the correct words. Mainly having electrical issues, power windows and top are inop. Thanks

Go to ebay and find you an original GM Shop Manual. I just looked and there is one for $59 and one for $25 (very good price). Do not buy Haynes or Motors Manuals. The original manuals will have colored schematics. This is the first thing you should buy after you buy your car. Payback is real quick. You want one that has some greasy thumbprints on it.

Both of the things you are having problems with are covered in the Fisher Body Manual, but not in the Chassis Service Manual.

You need to get both, but in this case, you need the FBM for your specific problem.

You can download both manuals for free at Wild About Cars (I believe you'll have to get the 1970 FBM, which is fine for your needs, because they don't have a later one scanned), but, as Red said above, you should also buy original copies, as they can be easier to use, and the diagrams are often clearer.
