Congratulations Eric!
No matter if you sell the car or keep it, you made something beautiful and will always have the journey you went through to get here. Do what will let you sleep at night. See you in Brookfield.

Eric, did anyone ask this:
What do YOU want to do?
What does your wife want you to do?
Life is short my friend, make sure whatever way you go, it is the right way for you and your family.

Ever see the movie Rain Man when he said "go back to walbrook, stay with charlie babbitt". That is me only it goes like this, "keep the car, sell it and pay off the house"....

I talked to the guy last night. He is not in a hurry and I want to take it to the nationals. He is trying to talk his buddy into buying it but he wants it also. I plan to keep it for the nationals for sure but after that??? He is coming to look at it in June. He has not seen it finished.

When I bought that guy out, My wife and I planed to use it as an opportunity to pay down the house. We later decided to restore this one to keep it. When we made that decision we both agreed that if we don't have the place paid off by 2018 we will sell off the cars till it is paid for. Now looking at it, I will not get near as much for the car then as I would now. I can not enjoy the car with the roads I live on. I have to borrow an enclosed trailer and tow it out of here to drive it. Then load it back up and haul it home to put it away. At the same time, the 40 miles I drove it over the weekend were some of the best miles I ever drove.
