Lower Fender Braces for 68 442

So I have the solid "L" shaped lower fender braces that were on my car but one is rusted and split where it mounts to the fender. I also have some of the "L" shaped braces with the rubber mount points for the fender, that I think came off a 69? Dimensionally they look the same... You think the parts are interchangeable?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, the two designs interchange. The rubber provides isolation. The 1969 O.A.I. cars used the 1968 design to clear the under bumper scoops.
