Lower ball joint

Maybe you guys remember a few weeks ago I had a dilemma with the rt lower ball joint not fitting into the spindle all the way. Well, the remedy was a new ball joint and all is well now.
I'm including a few pics of the non-conforming ball joint to see if anyone might be able to identify it.

I don't even have an idea what vehicle that's supposed to fit.

This was supposed to fit a 1962 Starfire, but the ball stud didn't go all the way into the spindle hole.

My 56 T-Bird has ball joints like the one you are showing.

What car are you wanting ball joints for?

ball joint

I,ve been reading about your request since you started your request. I ,m trying to remember, I think it is a ford lower ball joint. I was a alignment man for many years. [1967 to 1978]. So it,s hard to put a year into your request but I think a 1961 to 1963 [maybe later] Thunderbird. Good luck Friskyjake

Thanks everyone who responded. Looks like I have an expensive door stop to kick around.

I found this link:

http://fcrcmachine.com/rare-parts-lo...uper-88-10127/

It appears that it fits full size Olds from 59-62 including your Starfire. You should return it to the seller if it does not fit. Those things are expensive.

Good luck.

I've had the bj for years and don't recall where it came from.

I hate to see a perfectly good bj sit around and eventually get tossed.
I will send the bj to someone who needs a late fifties, early sixties bj for any car if you think it fits your car. If it fits in your spindle then you send me a check for $70 + the shipping l spent.
If it doesn't fit then you send it back to me and you pay shipping.
