Looked at the link. That is the the only pic that shows any perforation, but it does look minor as described. Yeah, I know - rust is an insidious foul 4 letter word that can rear it's head anywhere anytime. Still, overall the car looks to be in really nice shape, and the undercarriage for the most part looks amazing. Too bad it's not an all original car, but then again it's up to who owns it to make it what they want. The best part of the pic that you posted is that anyone who wants to buy it can ask for more information based on what they have already seen.

Looks pretty darn good for a 57 year old car.

Yeah, I wouldn't have used, "I have not found any rust spots on the body, trunk or floor pans. The most I have seen is very minor surface rust under the car. Frame and body mounts are very solid" to describe it, but on the other hand, at least he DID picture the rust, so the potential buyer can make an informed decision.

Seems like an honest move to me, and it is possible that the camera caught rust he had never paid any mind to himself, and he posted it (along with all those others) without really looking at it. I've had the experience myself of not noticing pretty obvious rust under the car when I was on my back, then being shocked at how obvious it was when the car was on a lift.
