Looking for This Tachometer

I've moved this from the Parts Wanted area to see if I can get a larger viewing audience (mods, feel free to strike this down if I am in violation of anything).

If you have one of these that you don't need/want, I would like to buy it from you. I called GM Sports Salvage (the marketers of it) and all they have now are the newer ones that go up to 8000 rpm. I want the 6000 rpm version.

Elecman, thanks for sharing your experience (I'll use it as a warning to test mine fully before installing), but:

Parts Place doesn't seem to have them anymore, Year One has them but wants $799.00 for the tach and gauge pods.

Additionally, I don't care for the Tic Toc Tach. It's difficult to see the tach needle (especially on the '68's with that deep tunnel they are in) and the clock is absurdly small (and mostly useless as they seldom can be convinced to keep good time). To me the Tic Toc Tach is the worst of both worlds. If the tach in the GM Sports Salvage one doesn't work well I'll just end up using a good working tach's guts behind the GM SS faceplate.
