Looking for moulding clip source for 66

Looking for moulding clip source for 66

My cutlass has the really wide body side moulding and the A/M attachment clips I am finding show for max 1.75" mine are aprox 2 3/16

Anyone know a place for these 66 only moulding clips. I have the the all metal snap in ones. The plastic / metal stud ones are the ones I need to replace.

I've been looking for the same clips for my 66 for ten years now. No one has them new that I can find. There is a vendor that sells an adaptable clip - basically it is a flat piece with score marks that allow you to snap it off to the width you need - sort of like a utility knife blade. The piece has a stud welded to the middle for attachment. Not ideal, but it may be the only option.

check out Restoration Specialities and Supply inc in windbar P.A. I have had some luck with them in the past.

I think you might need their phone number too 814-467-9842 I have purchased clips for my 63 98's from them and have directed other people with 61,62 and 63 starfires to them for the hard to get clips.I hope they can help you out.

I have, in addition to all the other trim clip vendors who sell at Carlisle, Hershey, and Syracuse. Oh, and the entire Auveco catalog.
