well if all the blocks are the same then there's no difference to me but the 68 69 heads mist be alot better then the smoggers? Anyone know the differences ?
There's not really much difference from a performance perspective between the 68-72 heads (5, 6, 7, and 7A. They flow about the same, have the same combustion chamber volume, and the same valve diameters. The difference is in the valve spring area with valve rotators and induction hardened exhaust seats on the later heads.
