Looked at 3 A bodies today, bought 2 of them.

Started yesterday early by heading out to look at a '70-'71? Skylark convertible shell for sale. It has nice rear seat & side panels, nice windshield & all associated trim, nice top frame, & a posi rear. Told the guy we'd take it & traveled another 1/2 hour to see the next candidate a '72 Supreme resting on the back of a flat bed in a junkyard. This poor car is very rough & rusty & even if I got it for free(didn't) I don't know if it would be worth it to haul it an hour back home. So I pulled several items from it & drove back towards home to buy a '72 4 door. It is a cousin to my daily driver '72 4 door, just not as nice looking.
I posted a thread on this car a month or so ago about it having a radio block off plate. I didn't own the car then & didn't know much about it. After getting the keys & title I found out it has a nice running 350 2bbl, AC converted to 134, disc brakes, complete seat belt set, rear defog( 4 door specific rear glass soon to be in Greenie), light package, & upon opening the trunk discovered it too is a posi rear! I will start parting it out as soon as I find a place for it.

nice scores, seems like you do not even see too many more doors anymore. if it were not so rusty it would almost be a shame to part it, it looks like it has never been messed with. the buick is cool too, are you going to rebuild it or just use the good parts?

The chassis frame on the skylark has been patched/welded in several places. Parts car for sure unless someone steps up real quick.
Yeah, the 4 door looks to be to rusty to do anything with but part it. I'll know more this week.

I'm interested in the posi rear, if it's not too crusty and has 2.56, 2.76 or so gear.

72 4 door cutlass

Scott, Looks like the 4 door has white interior i would be interested in the B and C pillar moldings if they are in nice shape. Let me know when you get a chance to look.

Scott:
I'm interested in that '72 AC-Heater control and may need the flapper door cables too. I'm not in a hurry, JLMK. Thx.
